Sky Poker’s Fifth Birthday Prize Giveaway

Sky Poker, British Sky Broadcasting’s online poker division, has just celebrated its fifth birthday, having been launched in February 2007. To mark the event, Sky Poker is offering its members a whole array of jackpots, giveaways and bonus rewards.

On top of the promotion that runs every day, £5,000 is being added to the Jackpot this week. This prize is awarded to the winner of the Sky Poker Main Event at 8pm and the Mini Main Event at 8:15pm on the same night. If there is no weekly Jackpot winner, Sky Poker will add £100 to the Jackpot pool until it is claimed.

Sky Poker will also be giving away iPad’s this week. Each of the five main poker event winners this week will receive one, and each day one will be given away in a daily prize draw. Players will have to earn 55 poker points on each day to qualify.

Each day of the week at 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 6pm, and 11pm the poker room is running a Happy Hour Points Boost, which will enable members to build the Poker Points required to use in other great giveaways. Any points earned in the Happy Hour Points Boost will earn a bonus of 50 per cent, while at 5.55pm players have the chance in a five-minute period to have their points increased by a factor of five.

Until Saturday, players can compete in the £1,000 Freerolls, which will start at 5.55.55 each day. On Saturday 11th February, the second Freeroll will take place and will cost 55 Sky Poker Points to qualify.

Sky Poker’s TV channel will also be giving away a number of prizes. These include seats at the Sky Poker Tour in Glasgow and Brighton on 10th March.
