Bubble Protection, the online poker insurance tool which covers tournament buy-ins by charging around 12 per cent of the buy-in fee to players to cover bankroll losses, have appointed Will ‘The Thrill’ Failla, “one of the most talented tournament players”, as their latest spokesman.
Failla, who has earned more than £4 million in his professional poker career in both live and online games, joins Chris Moorman, a 13-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) cash finisher, as the second spokesperson for Bubble Protection, which is hoping to expand its market even further. Eugene Castro, founder of Bubble Protection and its CEO, said he was “very proud” to have Failla join Moorman and “that having him aboard will bring respect and credibility” to his business.
Failla is impressed with Bubble Protection, which is designed to protect a player’s entry fee and bankrolls if they end up in the feared ‘bubble’ spot in a tournament. He said he was “very pleased to associate myself with Bubble Protection”, as he has “known and trusted the principals of the company for many years”.
The one time World Poker Tour (WPT) champion added that he has great faith in the business and believes that Bubble Protection follows a business model that is sustainable and affords users a positive expected value. Being a supporter of the technology involved, he said he could not wait for the time “when I can use Bubble Protection in the United States.” This is also hoped for by millions of US players who are praying their Government will back and change laws to allow online gaming after the debacle of Black Friday last April. Until that moment arrives, Failla said he would “proudly endorse the product in my travels, both here and abroad”.
